A quick note for college coaches

The reel is the introduction. The reply is yours.

BootTrail families may share a short highlight reel when they reach out. Here’s what that link means, what stays private, and how to opt in if you’d like to learn more.

Four useful details

A shared reel, in plain English.

The link is designed to make the first look simple and the next step respectful.

  1. 01

One share link opens the reel

The family sends one link with a short set of saved game-film moments. It opens in a browser, with no account or download needed.

  2. 02

The display name gives it context

The athlete display name identifies who the film belongs to, so the reel is easy to recognize when it lands in a busy recruiting inbox.

  3. 03

The view count stays with the family

Opening the link increments the family’s private view count. The public reel intentionally does not expose the raw number to a coach.

  4. 04

A reply starts only when you opt in

If the reel is relevant, send a note below. You choose whether to continue the conversation and which recruiting-contact rules apply.

Your call

Want to start the conversation?

Leave a short note with your name, program, or context. We’ll pass along the request so the family knows a coach chose to reach out.

BootTrail is not a compliance office and does not approve recruiting contact. The coach decides whether to reply and should follow applicable NCAA, institutional, and recruiting-contact rules.

Send an opt-in note
Share the best way for BootTrail to follow up. The family’s reel stays private to the people they choose.

By sending this note, you’re asking BootTrail to pass along your opt-in request. The coach decides whether to reply.
